"I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work."
- Thomas A. Edison
Perspective. We see many things just how we choose to. But does that mean we are standing in the best position to get the best view?
Sometimes, or should I say, Most often, we simply need to be asking a Better Quality Question, to find the vision we are truly looking for.
Congratulations to all of our friends whom just in this last year have attained a new level of achievement in their drive for their goals. May you be an inspiration to many.
And now...a fresh day to examine my own Perspective.
Good morning, Great day.
Greater You, is a more inspiring environment for those around you.

AYD - May 15, 2013 - Don't be a Slave to Goal Draining Routine
"In the absence of clearly-defined goals, we become strangely loyal to performing daily trivia until ultimately we become enslaved by it. "
- Robert Heinlein
Out of sight, out of mind.
Sometimes we need a kick in the pants to remember the things we know, and to see the obvious pattern we continue to fall into.
Picture the deep impressions in the asphalt from popular truck routes. Over and over they travel that route. Same lines. Now...imagine that is us. Walking in the same circles...over and over... like the ponies at a county fair.
I am not saying we are not happy. But I am saying, our heads are down looking at the path more than they are looking up to see what is new in the light of the sun. What have we been missing while we focus on putting our feet in the existing impressions?
While we enjoy the comfort of our routine ... I say this morning we need that kick in the butt. Just to make sure our eyelids open up and we take in a deep breath of fresh air. Look at our own stone carvings of the things we do in a day and ask ourselves...
"What do I do, because that is all I have ever done?"
And then.... picture if you will, a clean slab of stone, waiting for a chisel to start a new idea. Or a freshly laid concrete sidewalk... waiting for a new set of foot impressions to mark a new route across it.
If you were not limited by the daily trivia ... what would you do differently? What would you try?
Consider this a fun game this morning. Go thru your routine, and become aware of what you do each day, because that is how you always do it. What could you change, if it meant bringing a new perspective? What could you change if it meant you could add to your routine, some attention or baby step to a goal, that could become achieveable ... one new trivial step at a time.
Good Morning, Great day.
Greater you, means a more influencial environment for others.

AYD - May 14, 2013 - Be More Because You Want to Be.
“When we love, we always strive to become better than we are. When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better too.”
- Paulo Coelho
Part of our mission statement really. The better your morning starts, the better day you could have. The better day, brings a better you and a better you influences the environment and everyone around you.
The same within, when we are passionate about becoming better. Sports, Love, parenthood, goals, dreams and so on.
When we strive...or even just apply with focus onto something, we find that other pieces of our puzzle fit together with more ease. Things around us are less abrasive. We may not see it immediately, but the moment will come and realization will find you that you are, noticably ... more relaxed, happy and comfortable... and eager to act.
Try it. Enjoy it.

AYD - May 13, 2013 - Maintain Your Momentum
"One way to keep momentum going is to have constantly greater goals."
Michael Korda
Often spoken on a Monday - "How was the weekend?"
To which you often reply with energy and excitement as you share the details of events you experienced.
You had gone into that weekend, with momentum. You built it up as you planned your time off, and as things fell into place and the Fun came as planned and on command, your momentum carried you thru and often would have been replenished.
So your watercooler conversation comes to a close, and it is time to head off in the direction of Work.
Now right here is where you need to attack this environment with the same energy you attacked your Time Off. Look at your work obligations with intent and interest for the value you will gain from it ... just like the way we look at our weekend Fun plans... the value we anticipate.
This is not a less than fun place. This is where you reassemble and reapply and run Tests on your Momentum. You plan the work tasks and execute action. You chaulk up check marks for preparation steps for successful solutions. You look forward to the meeting, because you are prepared. You bring your "A" game and work can be energizing.
And the other benefit is that you now have two solid sources to build your momentum for your personal time. The plans for what you enjoy and look forward too, as well as the accomplishment for a job well done that feeds our comfort, satisfaction and ability to focus on our personal time because the J.O.B. is nothing to worry about.
Keep the momentum...and let it carry you to more success than you had previously focussed on.
