AYD - May 16,2012 - That Reminds Me Of ...

"I got a fortune cookie that said, 'To remember is to understand.' I have never forgotten it. A good judge remembers what it was like to be a lawyer. A good editor remembers being a writer. A good parent remembers what it was like to be a child."
- Anna Quindlen, Author and Journalist

I often refer to reflection as a means to stay aware of our achievements.  A good story of success, from any range of tasks, is a good way to start the next one with positive momentum.

As I have come thru growth in my awareness, I have been fortunate enuf to find the value in the journey that I have experienced.  All of the hilites along the way, are marked off like page markers in my 'life  made' personal encyclopedia of lessons learned.

Good times and hard times come together to form the man I have become, and they shape the picture I paint today, for myself, and for my wife and son.

In reflecting on my personal story, I see that I can be ... because I learned me, and I remember all of back then ... as it leads me to now.  I am more, from my lessons of when I was less.

A day may bring you struggles, and you have overcome struggles before.
A day may bring you joy, and it will be more joyful for you have knowledge of how to entertain it.
A day may bring you something fresh, and you will appreciate the new introduction because of past meetings.

A good greeting to the day reminds you of what is all yours to embrace.
This day is yours. Live it comfortably in the imprint of the last, or take it another step.
