AYD - April 11, 2013 - There is only one You.

"Always be a first-rate version of yourself, instead of a second-rate version of somebody else."
- Judy Garland

As we grow and mature,or in some cases I guess - immature, we show signs of things we have picked up along our journey.  Personality traits, habits, attitudes.  We get these after market add ons from a wide variety of influences.  People in our lives that left and impression.  Lessons learned from hard or very joyful experiences.

Let us be careful, that in trying to find our identity, our shape, or footprint among many, that we do not totally become a walking product of only external influences.  A pop star's choice of clothes, a popular television program showing us what is funny, or the trends telling us what is cool to listen to for music.

Part of what makes all these things fresh, is putting your own mark on it all.  You see something that is popular, like a new sport...and then you see how it evolves so that the sport is still there, but people are thinking outside that box and presenting  a twist...a new idea and always their intention is grow...to expand.

Be the thinker, and apply a little First-Rate You to things you like.  Try not to simply mimic the path you see before you.

Have a great day, being in touch with what makes you different from the Billions of Hamburgers Sold.

Good morning, great day.  Great you, a better day for everyone else.
