"Nobody succeeds beyond his or her wildest expectations unless he or she begins with some wild expectations."
- Ralph Charell
How many times do we stop our actions because we tell our thoughts that the idea is just too much, or "I could never" ? Or how many times do we set our sights low, just to be realistic and assume "Well, THAT I can do" ?
When we begin a thing...it is good to set goals, sure. However, do we allow ourselves to imagine what it would feel like to blast past the goal - to super succeed? Do we allow ourselves to think like a child and just imagine the Moon?
We need to. We need to visit the land of "Wouldn't that be Awesome!?" and browse around for awhile.
See something we like. Take a mental picture. Maybe alter our idea on just what the dream or meaning of success is.
It is a safe thing to want to just GET to a point where we would be content with our level of success. It is a way to control our disappointment should we not succeed right away. It is subliminal protection of our dream intention.
Sometimes, our heart has to tell us that it is okay to not play it safe. Sometimes our heart has to tell us that it is okay to get excited ... get a little wild in our thoughts and push what we have set as our boundaries.
I tie myself in quite a bit I think. What I need to do, is reach down and give the ropes some slack ... I need to reach that curtain between the first act and the next... and I need to change the program on this play of Life.
Wild Expectations.... what do we have in our bag of Belief today ... Release the Imagination Hounds... It's about to get interesting.
Good morning, Great day.
Great you, is a better day for everyone else.
