AYD - Jan 16, 2014 - Impress Your Personal Impressions

"Keeping your clothes well pressed will keep you from looking hard pressed."
- Coleman Cox

This is not about impressing others.  This is not about modifying your look to create an image.
This is about how you feel internally from a simple act, that will benefit the day moving forward.

I feel tired.  Maybe not enough sleep. Maybe run down.  Too many thoughts on the brain. Kids have school, spouse has appointments, we have meetings or car issues and so on and so on and so on.

So jump in the shower.  Take a moment before you put the days frames on fast forward and skip through the moments that could line you up for success.  Just soak your head.  Take a deep breath.

Get out and put on a clean shirt.  Something from a hanger.  No wrinkles.  Clean.  Take a look in the  mirror.  Check the angles.  Turn.  Turn.  Now use your brush for a microphone... just kidding.  But really, take a moment to like the way you look ... and a moment to enjoy how that FEELS.

How you feel in your clothes as you head out to tackle the world and all of it's judgements... how you feel is the first thing people see.  I may see a wrinkle in your tie, or the creases from yesterday in your shirt,  but only after I see your smile with your confident walk and energy to what ever you do and whereever you are going.  That is the impression that I will remember.

Keep yourself in mind.  Impress your personal impressions.

Good morning, greater day.
Greater you .... well, just see how that affects others.
