AYD - March 25, 2013 - A Simple To Do List

Opportunity Monday.

Time to give back and begin the week with a positive flow.

Say Thank You to someone for something they do everyday, but are often overlooked.

Apologize to someone, because you have had time to think things through.

Share with someone what was good for you in the last few days....

And then share your time with them as they share with you.

Give your interest to someone with a problem at work.

Ask someone how they are doing, and care enough to listen to the answer.


When we have time to reflect upon simple beginnings like this, we often find some connection to some event or memory from our growing up.  I recall when I was in Boy Scouts... it was said that we should try to do a good deed each and every day.  We had badges to earn by challenging ourselves to try something new, and apply ourselves to it.

If only I had carried those simple life lessons forward conciously ... I marvel at all the good I could have done, and how it may have shaped who I later became.

Opportunity Monday - seize some of the moments that offer to us the chance to do something so small, so simple... yet so significant.
