AYD - March 28,2013 - A Personal Day

"I would thank you from the bottom of my heart, but for you my heart has no bottom."
- Anonymous

There is alot going on in our lives.  Day in and day exit...a fresh morning, a weary nite... the headlines, the forecasts ... alot going on.  Changes at work, and changes at home - it is hard sometimes to remember to give all the good, an equal share of our heart, mind, and overall time in our thoughts.

We must remind ourselves to schedule time for Thanks.

In our own lives right now, there is alot of uncertainty.  So today, while we encounter some changes, and some answers are still to be discovered, and the consequential paths are yet to show themselves thru the forest of unknowns - I want to pause and give thanks.  Thanks because it is due, and to Give Thanks because it helps to calm the heart and mind when uncertainty spins the Merry Go Round a little too fast.

I ask you to remember to give thanks fairly often here.  Today, I suggest you truly touch the feeling behind the gesture.  Go one step further in your expression.  Consider how your life has been made better because of the thing or person or action you are so thankful for.

"We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give." - Winston Churchill

Today I give my thanks...for what it is worth. You all know who you are. I hope you know all you do.

Great morning, great day.  Great you, a better day for others.
