AYD - Jan 3, 2014 - Enhance Your Experience

"A smiling face is half the meal."
- Latvian Proverb

Think of something you have done, that just would not have been the same if you had not had a specific someone there to share it with.  An achievement made bigger because someone was there to applaud and share your joy.

Think of all the acceptance speaches by athletes who say, "This is for my Grandma and all she sacrificed for me to be here and have this opportunity."

Alot of life's huge lessons and big moments have their roots because of so many parallel meanings, beginning on a much smaller, more personal and intimate scale.  Like simply sharing the joy of companionship over a meal.

Having someone you care about to share a meal is a great awakening.  Simple, and yet so effective in removing stress, and even more so in helping us focus on the task at hand, actually tasting good food, while enjoying good company.  Life's simple pleasures.  No one likes to drink alone, and a great steak is just a thing you mention unless you can share the "Mmmm, this is done perfectly" expression while you make funny faces trying to explain the flavor explosion from a job well done.  A thing becomes a story to tell.

Enhance your experience this weekend.  Any experience.
If you are driving in a car, have a great conversation.
If you are shovelling snow, catch up with the neighbor.
If you are lounging around, call a friend to check up on them with a "Hello".

And if you are sharing a meal,  remember to smile accross the table, for you being there, is half of the moment.

Good Morning,
Great Day.
Greater you, makes others greater too.
