"People will ask you the question, 'How is life treating you?' But my question is, 'How are you treating life?' On that your happiness rests. "
-Rasheed Ogunlaru
Reflective Perspective and Respect.
Ask someone what they want in life, and many of us will have to pause and consider it. For many it has yet to be defined.
We could ask, 'Where are you in your life?', but sadly I believe too many will immediately think of where they are Not.
What if we try a 'Leading-to-Perspective' approach ? " Can you tell me about your journey to get here?"
If we can realize the greatness of the view from where we stand RIGHT NOW, and reflect intimately on each of the foundational layers we climbed to get this View, we allow ourselves the opportunity to appreciate just how we are treating this life. What we have built with each experience brick, takes a shape and adopts color and we see how we have Framed our story line.
How are you treating this life you have been building? Are you taking time to share your story, with others as well as yourself? Kick back today, appreciate where you are, and respect the efforts it took to get here.
"When I was your age we had to walk to school. 5 miles up hill both ways." We joke about it, but life is treating us good now, because of those trials before.
Good morning, greater day.
Greater you, is influence on the hidden greatness of others.
