"Always render more and better service than is expected of you, no matter what your task may be."
- Og Mandino
One step more than what is requested. One added touch. Wash the floor, or make it shine? Washing it, you did your job...making it shine, your job stands out.
In all you do, make your actions show how you shine. - Pierre

AYD - April 18, 2013 - It's All in the Delivery
"I don't deserve this award, but I have arthritis and I don't deserve that either."
- Jack Benny, 1894-1974
Moments and messages we remember,
What makes them stick with us?
It might be that joke you heard, or that one liner from a movie. It could be that message from your dad when he was trying so hard to teach you something.
Life lessons, good humor, nice story or news headline.
It's all in the delivery.
Sometimes we are driven into action, and sometimes...ah, I will get to it later.
Sometimes our heart races with "Ah Hah!!" and others, "I don't get it."
There are moments that impact us ... and moments that pass us by without a hint of interest.
Messages that motivate us, some that get our interest and some that intimidate us into hibernation.
It's all in the delivery.
Often times I share with you my belief that we can hear the same "moral of the story" many times in our lives, direct and indirectly. And that we all receive these realizations differently. I also believe that with the right time right moment clause, there is credit to be given to the Delivery.
You ever have two people tell you the same joke, and one loses your interest right away while the other created the funny, painted the scene and then rolled it out like a magical tale that had you giggling before it was over?
It is the same with life lessons, motivational movements, calls to action, direction and advice for success, how to make money, I love you, I'm here for you, this car is the best on the lot, you can do it, I'm convinced, yes sir the project is on schedule, it's your fault, don't talk to me like that, Mary these crabcakes are divine, you are great, that was a job well done, you inspire me, new and improved your dog will love it, and Elvis sings the dance songs of the 90's !!! And ... I'm Sorry.
Delivery. Think about it. Be aware of it.
How we receive our day...also often depends on the delivery.
Point to ponder... how did you place your order?
Good morning, Great day. Great you, means a better day for everyone else.
Pierre Couturier
Husband that delivers, Daddy working on my delivery, Author...really trying to define my delivery... and just all around talkative guy.

AYD - April 17, 2013 - Just a Nice Thought
Have you had a morning, where you wake up, and all is good? Just nice routine good. No bad weather coming...no negative anticipation...no big plans, no new adventures. A morning, like a blank canvas. Just waiting but not expecting.
The day is yours to create, we say that alot. And so...this morning as I walk thru thoughts, all I find is a clean, uninfluenced canvas. No desire for any particular color, or any picture taking shape.
So with that, I would like to start the day with simply a nice thought, that may guide your brush. Good morning, and may it be, precisely what you need.
"When I was young, my ambtion was to be one of the people who made a difference in this world. My hope still is to leave the world a little bit better for my having been here. It's a wonderful life and I love it."
- Jim Henson, from his book It's Not Easy Being Green and Other Things to Consider
Good morning, great day. Great you, and a better day for everyone else.

Happy Husband, Proud Daddy, and Author.... and just letting the day show me it's colors.

AYD - April 16, 2013 - Self Test Tuesday
"While I believe in the power of positive thought, I do not believe that you or I can simply psyche ourselves into success or peace of mind.”
- Stephen Covey
I believe that with Positive Thought comes great things. Those great things, come from a chain reaction, started by continuous, consistent, positive energy and outlook. Find the lesson in everything. Pay it forward for your benefit and the ripple effect reaches out that benefit to touch others.
I believe that consistant positive approach, helps you to adopt it ( positivity) as habit and part of your personality. As this becomes part of you, the impression on you and within you becomes deeper and more permanent. The more it is part of you, the more you leave that mark on others like a sunrise. This positive feel, this looked forward to personality, arrives with you, as part of you, and as something people are drawn to. You are laying the foundation, and it is expanding.
So... all of this I believe starts from consistant positive expression and frame of mind. Now... it does not just give you success, and it does not just give you peace of mind. Now you have to act, as you think.
Put your positive energy into action. Let the energy lead you. Procrastination leaves the door open behind it when Positive Belief comes by for a visit. Part of the Chain Reaction....but you must take the next step.
I am much more positive than I used to be. I will give myself credit for that...as should you. I am taking action in some ways... but admittedly I can do more. I recognize this.
The difference today is that in the past, I would have admitted I was not happy with my lack of success. I would have admitted I had myself to blame. And then I would have wasted alot of energy focussed on the blame and the woulda, shoulda, coulda game.
Self Test Tuesday. Can you ask yourself how Positive you are in your day? Do you see things on the half full or half empty side of perspective? Can you see a place to tip the balance for the better?
How do you change the world? With one simple act of Kindness at a time. How do we change our results...start with one positive thought...and let it tell two friends...and then they touch two friends...and so on and so on....until, frame of mind naturally takes you by the hand and you act positive in alignment with your thoughts.
Wow...I can positively tell you that this did not come out the way it was supposed to.
Just go think a good thought and see where it takes you.
Good morning, Great day. Great you, a better day for everyone else.

AYD - April 15, 2013 - Wisdom Surrounds You
"A simple conversation with a wise man is better than ten years of study."
- Chinese Proverb
I love simple.
Simple messages that are true and don't need more explaining.
Simple mornings that begin well, and then compound the goodness.
Simple Mondays that are a beginning rather than a dread.
Simple smiles that do not need to be questioned.
Simple moments of genuine laughter with a child, that help me keep in touch with perspective and value.
I have tripped over many websites like ours recently...all promoting success and action. All true.
Sometimes, however, I get a little overwhelmed with all the true, and valuable information to soak up and try to follow.
Sometimes, I need a simple moment to relax and not pressure myself.
Sometimes, I need to learn again how to relax.
A simple conversation with a wise man... I have been blessed to have many around me. From all walks of life, from all levels of success. I have a strong suspicion that you do as well.
Enjoy a moment, thinking of and identifying your "wise" team in your life. Think of something you want to do, and match it up with one of these wise people who are quite often, searching for an opportunity to help you. If you do not know anyone for that topic... find someone. Ask. Share your desire, and they will share their wisdom.
A wise man appreciates passion in you. They see it coming a mile away.
Good morning , Great day. Great you, a better day for others.
