Quick and to the point this morning. Counting our successes. Visualizing yourself winning – crossing a finish line – of a race you maybe did not think you would enter.

 Meaning, something you have done in your life that you doubted you could do.
Anything in this category is a pleasure. Anything!
Riding a motorbike or a horse.
Taking a class.
Getting that job.
Writing a book.
Great career without University.
Eating a 40 ounce steak
Losing weight
Etc Etc Etc.

Anything in this category is a pleasure to relive – and often not counted or marked by an index card in our memory…. But valuable for you to count.

It is great doing something that someone told us we could not. I suggest it is even better to do something we told ourselves we could not.

Awaken Your Day - April 3, 2017 - Priorities

Important in the life of .... a child, a spouse, parther, friend and so on and so on. Being a dad and a husband, i read this today and thought of my child and my wife. My life purpose. From where I came from, my success and path is them, and making the biggest difference I can in those two lives covers alot of ground for me no one else can understand.


The point is, you are making a difference. In the lives of those around you. Your actions and expressions and what you share opens the pages of tomorrow with more good than can ever be measured. You make the world a better place - often quietly and unannounced. .Think- about how you feel when someone you know, that really good example of a human we see and talk about - how do you feel and react when in contact with them. Understand, that is you to someone else. And so on...and so on... and so on.
 
What matters to me today, is specifically that I am important in the life of a lady and our child. This is my driver, my immediate focus. And in being of that mindset for them, maybe without knowing, I am an example for others. I have that opportunity to leave a meaningful and lasting mark on my time here. I have ... we all have that opportunity.


May you have a meaningful beginning to your week. May you leave a mark on those who matter most. May you see that you matter to others, and that you make them feel that they do as well.

I ask you often to reflect - to gather the treasures of yesterdays and see how rich you really are. Today I reflected and I am glad I did. Found this post from 2014 and I got just what I needed for my day. I hope you enjoy.

AYD - March 28, 2014 - Love the Simple Days

There are days when thinking is not a necessity.
Days, when we need to just chuckle, and enjoy the cute wisdom of... humor.
Lately, my son has been coming up with some wonderful and insightful chats with mommy at bedtime. I love the mind of a toddler, and the escape it gives us from everything else. ( And to be able to just say some of that crazy stuff and get away with it... amazing.)

So today I thought ... why not share some of the wisdom of a character like no other, that right now reminds me alot of our own little man. Calvin and Hobbes.

Awaken Your Day - March 23, 2017 - Let it Run

Sometimes we don't need some big inspiring words to put us in gear.
Sometimes, we just need to let our mind free to think what it wants and see what happens from there.

 A silly thought.
A "what if" thought.
A "why not" thought.
An "if I could have but one wish" thought.
All can be a fun journey to simply get our brain and thoughts moving...and one thought is magical because it will tell two friends ... and they will tell friends ... and you know how that goes.

Spend a few minutes with some "out there" thoughts. Something inspiring may just come out of it.
It may only be fun make believe ... but does it have to Only be?
