From where you stand, can you see from the other person's eyes?

You may be faced with a situation today. One where it appears it is between you and the other guy. One on one. Head to head. And maybe, you are thinking that your position is the position.

You need to know that there is an excellent chance that the person you are about to challenge, is feeling precisely the same way.

There is wisdom in Grandma's old words. Put yourself in their shoes. Or in modern times, I would say that it is in your best interest to examine the point from multiple points of view. Not only will you expand your awareness and grow with your overall understanding, but you will gain respect and grow larger in the eyes of others.

Well, it is.
We have to start somewhere, and where better than the obvious.
If we do not break the pattern, we cannot change the outcome.

We have to start taking more control over the insecure thoughts that rule us.
Consider this if you will. You and insecurity are playing with a deck of cards ...
The game is, War.

Insecurity flips over a 10.
You flip a King.

And onward from there.
Expect the best today.
Demand it, and create it.

After all, have you not earned it?

Often we read a simple little phrase such as this, and our thoughts scratch some surface meaning that is etched into our understanding and we carry on our merry way without ingesting something more touching from it. Words get lost in our internal filing system.


Some days we are looking for more, and maybe the words that day take us a little deeper. But most often, we still do not grab hold of the depth of meaning they can bring back to the surface for us.

Challenge for today - Hear the message in simple phrases; and then ask yourself to interpret the meaning you feel. Create a picture in your mind, of what this definition looks like.
