How often do we do things, because that is just the way it has always been done?
How many paths do we follow because we simply are lead by the ground already packed down in front of our next step?

There are examples all around us of people who went exploring the thoughts and visions that came alive outside the life patterns we come to know so easily. So robotically.

For your belief strength, I ask you today to look upon any time in your life when you did something ... your way. Do this and you prove beyond all those other people and examples, you prove to you in an " I can see it ! " kind of way ... that yes, it can be done differently. That You ... have more inside you.

No effort involved. Just some self credit to find.

AYD replay today. Because I was reminded of some great people.

Awaken Your Day - June 7, 2018 - Recognize

Let's be honest, I don't know who Aeschylus is. And his actual quote might look more like this " It is in the character of very few men to honor without envy a friend who has prospered."

So while I don't know him. I like what he says. And it had me thinking...about some good friends who are great people and who have achieved great success - inspiring success - and that I do not envy them for it - rather I admire the qualities in them that helped them attain that success.

Inspired by their hard work, focus, determination and drive. And the positive outlook all along the way.

You have these people in your life. Spend a moment today letting their success inspire how you approach your day and maybe your own actions. Couldn't hurt could it. But ask yourself if are one of the few who can avoid envy and pay more attention to the footsteps these inspiring people leave for us to follow.

Awaken Your Day - You know you can.

And Inspiration still can find you anywhere.

Like a new red light in the middle of an 8 lane freeway at rush hour. That is how those words hit me. I just never thought I couldn't.

There are those few individuals in life that seem to have this mind set right from the crib. And if I were to break it down, so many of the things the rest of us chase in life could be reached, like catching the leader of a race, if we just reformatted our belief structure to line up with this. I know ... it's hard. But it is never too late to start. It may sound like a different kind of fairytale story, but it has been done.

It can be done.

If the new way is much better than the old, and we are living "Ah Ha" as we are wiser and know so much more now than when we were in our onesie .... we can always start. With our shared awareness of how we want to live our Day, our year, our life - we can proceed to switch gears and start moving up in the race pack. To ultimately lead our own race - hell, just to participate in our own race.

It is never too late to create.

From a red light I encountered watching a cartoon movie ... maybe i cannot say "I NEVER thought I couldn't" .... but damn, I can say "On this day, I stopped thinking I couldn't."

Find a moment today - and stop thinking you couldn't.

Awaken Your Day - A Moment Keeps the Years

Life gets busy. It is busy. At times, it is always busy.
Take a moment. Pick a name. Now... call, write, email, text. Make contact ... old friend.

I was reminded this morning about the simple truths in life... and where to find some of them.

Keep it simple, and don't be so grown up as to remember to just reach into your heart for the simple goodness that comes from your inner child. Express yourself, and feel the expression.
