Awaken Your Day - Dec 9 - And the Best Will Be

"Things turn out best for the people who make the best of the way things turn out."
- Art Linkletter

We have had the fortune this year of hearing from friends and family that have had some tough times.

Sounds kind of cold when you first read that.

But what I mean is, we have had the fortune to have heard about the misfortunes that have happened in the lives of those we care about - and how they overcame that to turn it into a strength.

So often in this life we hear stories of triumph and overcoming hardship. For myself, it seemed as though one story blended in with another. A feel good story and for some reason, I could not recall those tales of success when I needed that connection. For myself, I found that if I had a closer connection to the person, it seemed as though I was able to absorb, and retain the value behind it a little more. I could draw on that easier, it came to mind more naturally.

And so, with the hardships of those that are close to us, we shared in the worry but we stand in the glow of the reward of how these friends and family have risen above the difficulty of the moment or instance, and now are stronger for it.

We find strength, and faith in overcoming - and we share it not just in the telling of a tale, but in providing support to others in their time of need.

Your hard earned strength, costs you nothing to share, but the benefits show a compounding value for all those that it touches.

So to touch on today's little comment... things turn out best for you when you find your path to making the most of any situation obviously, but things start off better for others when they can see the path you have laid out that enables them to confront challenges with awareness on how to make the most of it.

Have a good day, and may you make the most of good moments and challenging moments so that your value is compounded.

Pierre
