"Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it."
- William Arthur Ward
How do we usually feel when we let that guy in to our lane when we are in tight traffic, and in return we get a big old nothing to acknowledge our gesture?
Not the typical little wave of thanks.
Not the tap of the brake lites.
Not the wave out the window.
Now pick that situation up...like a puzzle you made on the table, and lay it down over any example of where someone makes a courteous gesture for you, and you fail to acknowledge it.
Held the elevator. Service with a smile. A "certainly" on your request over the phone.
Simple things become memorable moments if we just take the time to express our gratitude. Make it a habit, and watch it grow.
The Best of My Day is Calling.
Good Morning.
