Awaken Your Day - July 21, 2011 - Attitude Increases Success Rate

"Ability is what you're capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it."
- Lou Holtz

I awaken this morning  knowing I have a task to complete today.
Actually, I have a list of tasks that should get finalized.

I know I have the ability to do them.  So I begin with no stress in that regard.
There may be a challenge to get them all complete in the time I have, but I do feel Motivated to do try.
For if I succeed, I can go on my days off feeling more at ease, knowing there are no loose ends for my return to work, nor for my office partner to contend with while I am away; thus allowing him time to work on his own tasks, without my added burdens.

I could put in a half share of effort...and get a one or two things cleared up.
I could just not worry about it.
Or, with just a little more dedication and a little less visitation... a little more attention to the moment and less dreaming on the next few days to come... a little more pride in my workmanship and respect for my co-workers, and honestly...you realize that the extra effort is minimal, and the work is done.

Would I want to work with me?
Yes...I feel I have become THAT guy.

Where is your attitude when it comes to the day ahead?
What ripple effect does it have when you walk into work?

Good Morning.
Glad you came in today.  It's always nice to see you.
