AYD - May 13, 2013 - Maintain Your Momentum

"One way to keep momentum going is to have constantly greater goals."
Michael Korda

Often spoken on a Monday - "How was the weekend?"
To which you often reply with energy and excitement as you share the details of events you experienced.

You had gone into that weekend, with momentum.  You built it up as you planned your time off, and as things fell into place and the Fun came as planned and on command, your momentum carried you thru and often would have been replenished.

So your watercooler conversation comes to a close, and it is time to head off in the direction of Work.
Now right here is where you need to attack this environment with the same energy you attacked your Time Off.  Look at your work obligations with intent and interest for the value you will gain from it ... just like the way we look at our weekend Fun plans... the value we anticipate.

This is not a less than fun place. This is where you reassemble and reapply and run Tests on your Momentum.  You plan the work tasks and execute action.  You chaulk up check marks for preparation steps for successful solutions.  You look forward to the meeting, because you are prepared.  You bring your "A" game and work can be energizing.

And the other benefit is that you now have two solid sources to build your momentum for your personal time.  The plans for what you enjoy and look forward too, as well as the accomplishment for a job well done that feeds our comfort, satisfaction and ability to focus on our personal time because the J.O.B. is nothing to worry about.

Keep the momentum...and let it carry you to more success than you had previously focussed on.

Good morning, Great Day.
Greater you, means a better environment for all those around you.
