Word to consider today - "Trust"
A word we use, but not necessarily think about.
What does it mean for you to "trust" ? What does this feeling of 'trust' give you?
Can you identify what 'trust' gives you in a relationship ( of any kind) that we often do not consider because there is no conflict to draw attention to the concept of 'trust' ?
For example - in a solid love with a partner, you have 'trust'. With unspoken, unhindered trust, you have a LACK of jealousy. Where there is no jealousy, you have less trivial arguements and more focus on the elements you care about in your partner - where there is no reason for jealousy, you have no reason for resentments born from lack of communication about feelings ( another spin off of distrust) ... you have more opportunity to express and show natural affection. More natural affection, leads to more good thoughts and actions.... and so on... and so on...
All from recognizing a value in our lives that when in place, is often not demanding attention.
Can you start your day by recognizing, 3 people in your life that you trust. Trust with your heart, your life or even your child's life. Your feelings, your future, your secrets?
Think about the person. Then think about how it feels to be able to have the feeling, and the security of Trust. Finally... consider all the treasure your relationship with that person has, because of this wonderful element you have been able to achieve in and believe in .... trust.
The gift that keeps on giving.
Good morning, Greater day.
Greater you, provides opportunity for others.
