And then, I am speechless. When the obvious hits you square between the eyes, really, what is there to say? Should you say anything? Or should you choose to spend a quiet moment with the realization that is around you like a healing cloud, and let it sink in.
I am talking about Enthusiasm. It is a choice. It is often the road forgotten because the road signs pointing you in the better feeling direction are obscured by the clutter we attach to our vision like magnets on a fridge.
Read Charles' words again. How much different is your day, more importantly how much more improved is your focus when you approach your day, your job, your task ... with Enthusiasm?
I say - enough to make it worth your time and energy. Enough to heal what ails you. Enough to change your experience and in so doing, change you for the better.
So... Monday. Instead of thinking about work and how much money you make and the comfort and luxury it brings... think about how good you are at what you do. Think Enthusiastically about your skills, what you bring. Do this with your work, your sport, your music and hobbies and teaching and outlook and breathing and your laughter and your sharing and...
your life.
