Awaken Your Day - June 4, 2017 - Sunday Thoughts

"My therapist set half a glass of water in front of me. He asked if I was an optimist or a pessimist. So, I drank the water and told him I was a problem solver."
- Unknown

We are in a battle daily and we do not even know it.
The potential enemy is First Impression Auto Response.
( You are trying to sound out the acronym ... don't because you just proved the point.)

There are a lot of things that come at us in a day that have now become so routine (like cliché use and things like half full half empty) that our response defaults to an immediate Impression template from all the other times and we auto respond without a pause to evaluate.

I had heard the old half full half empty speech so many times that I was numb to the meaning. I didn't really and honestly consider how it applied in a new moment and what I might get from it. The phrase came along and I was reminded to decide on how I felt in the moment. Until somebody said something about, " that is the right amount of mix now where is the vodka?"

You have a Sunday before you. And since there is no NFL today to allow you an excuse for Sunday Automatic Pilot - I suggest you go to battle. Drink the water where you can. Find every glass around you today and determine what "problems" you will solve.

Good morning. Greater Day. Greater You....turning off the Auto Responders.
