There are numerous times that jump right out at me that I coulda and shoulda taken a few moments to gather my thoughts and emotions before spilling the Cup of Frustration all over the desk in front of me.

Rethink the plan before you head into "battle". It will serve you well to breathe deeply and see the next step more clearly than to tilt your head high to holler and not see the hole your foot is destined for as your emotions charge before your thoughts.


There are so many lessons to be learned from these mentors of years gone by. I wish we could have invited them to join us around the dinner table when I was young.
